The Sunday Show is a British television entertainment programme that was broadcast live on Sunday lunchtimes on BBC Two between 1995 and 1997. Four series of the show were produced. Donna McPhail and Katie Puckrik hosted the first two series, Puckrik was replaced by Paul Tonkinson for the third series. For the fourth, Tonkinson hosted with Jenny Ross, previously the show's soap opera reviewer. The show is best remembered for giving breaks to two young comedians who went on to greater success: Paul Kaye, who appeared each week in his Dennis Pennis character, attending premieres and other events, and throwing absurd questions at the gathered celebrities; and Peter Kay who presented a regular "World of Entertainment" slot ostensibly reviewing TV and film but in practice simply a vehicle for his stand-up comedy act. Other regular contributors included Kevin Eldon in different guises, including 'Guy Boudelaire' & 'Dr Brebner', and Happy Mondays' dancer/mascot/percussionist Bez in a weekly "Science With Bez" slot.

Fajront Republika was a Serbian talk show / sketch show that aired weekly on 1Prva from December 2008 until June 2011. Hosted by Zoran Kesić, the show was a blend of straight talk show elements and sketch comedy. Its name translates to "Closing time Republic" and it premiered on Sunday, 21 December 2008 at 11pm. It has since then been moved to Thursdays at 9pm, and then back to Sundays at 11pm in early November 2009. Starting in fall 2012, a year after getting cancelled from television, a live version of the show under the name Fajront Republika 3D is performed bi-weekly at a Belgrade theater.

Contacto Deportivo is the only nightly Spanish language sports highlights and recap program broadcast on the TeleFutura network aimed at the Mexican and Hispanic market in the United States. It provides coverage of American NBA, MLB, NFL. Also the Mexican Primera División, English Premier League and many other international football leagues and competitions. Its regular hosts are Ricardo Celis, Antonietta Collins, Alejandro Berry, Jorge Perez-Navarro, Maria Eugenia Payan and Jorge Ottati. Its music is more lively than ESPN's Sportscenter but more martial. "Contacto Deportivo" offers weekly in-depth segments including Resumen Futbol de Liga Mexicana, Los Magnificos 10, Contacto Xtremo, Calendario Boxistico, Desde Adentro with Jorge Zambrano, and a weekly NFL wrap-up.

Live and Sweaty was an Australian sports television program, broadcast on the ABC from 1991 until 1995. Hosted by Andrew Denton and later, Elle McFeast, the show was part panel-based, part talk show and part comedy, and predated The Footy Show which has a similar format.

A Fork in the Road is an Australian travel television series airing on SBS and hosted by Pria Viswalingam. Described by SBS as "the thinking-person’s travel show" the program takes the viewer off the beaten track and takes a look at the lives of the people living in each destination rather than following the usual "travel show" format. The altogether 62 episodes had a length of ca. 25 minutes each.

Primer Plano was a Venezuelan television talk show seen on Radio Caracas Televisión and was hosted by Marcel Granier, the current general director of RCTV and president of Empresas 1BC, the parent company of RCTV. The show debuted on 10 November 1976 with an interview of Diego Arria Salicetti, then governor of Caracas and has aired on-and-off since then. Primer Plano's most famous guest was current Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez in 1998. Other important guest included Arturo Uslar Pietri, Henrique Salas Römer, Henrique Salas Feo, Irene Sáez, Valentina Quintero, and Andres Velázquez to name a few The latest episode of Primer Plano took place on 30 November 2006 with an interview of Manuel Rosales, the current governor of Zulia and the then-opposition presidential candidate for the 2006 Venezuelan presidential elections.

After Words is an American television series on the C-SPAN2 network’s weekend programming schedule known as Book TV. The program is an hour-long talk show, each week featuring an interview with the author of a new nonfiction book. The program has no regular host. Instead, each author is paired with a guest host who is familiar with the author or the subject matter of their book. The program airs on Saturday at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, with encores on Sunday at 12 p.m. and at 9 p.m., and Monday at 12 a.m.

NFL Scoreboard is a weekly in-season program on the NFL Network. It is a studio show hosted by Fran Charles, with analysis from former National Football League center Jamie Dukes. The program begins every Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern time and airs, in more or less a continuous loop, until the conclusion of NBC Sunday Night Football at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET. NFL Scoreboard consists of score updates, analysis, limited game highlights, and extensive postgame comments from players and coaches. This program was once the last part of Red Zone. That show consists of game updates presented with text and graphics on the television screen and audio from Sirius NFL Radio. From 2003 to 2005, Red Zone ran from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, followed by Point After. As part of the network's 2006 revamp, Point After became a five-day-a-week show, Red Zone was reduced to three hours, and this show and NFL GameDay were created.

Buried Alive is a talk show broadcast on RTÉ One in Ireland. It is hosted by the Irish comedian Dara Ó Briain. Each week a celebrity from Irish society is invited onto the show to view their own "obituary film". The show basically highlights the careers of different celebrities and sees what their reactions to different instances in their lives are.

Livewire is a kids' talk show on the U.S. television cable network, Nickelodeon which began in September 1980 and ended in 1985. Livewire was a talk show for kids of all ages, and the show's main focus discussed true current events and stories during those times. The show was taped at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York through Reeves Teletape Studios of Sesame Street fame. Livewire was filmed 'live on tape' with a participating audience of about 20-30 teenagers and was hosted initially by Mark Cordray, but Fred Newman eventually replaced Cordray as host. The show was a CableACE Award winner, the first Nickelodeon talk show to achieve that feat. Livewire was the #1 rated show on Nickelodeon in 1982, and never went below #7 in the ratings during the 5 year span of the show. The show was most famously known for giving relatively unknown bands and singers their first television appearance. Al Punto was a Sunday morning talk show hosted by Noticiero Univision anchor Jorge Ramos on the Univision network and its sister network Galavisión. Until 2012, when Enfoque premiered on Telemundo, it was the only show of its type in the United States that broadcast in the Spanish language. It ended in December 2024 when Jorge Ramos left Univision.

House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show is a spin-off of the American reality television series Big Brother. The program is a live Internet talk show hosted by Gretchen Massey and focuses on events in the Big Brother house as well as taking phone calls from viewers. The show started in 2004 during Big Brother 5 with Marcellas Reynolds as host/co-host, and became quite popular. House Calls aired during the fifth through tenth seasons of Big Brother.

Salamat Dok! is Philippines' medical television program hosted by Bernadette Sembrano, which provides information on diseases and medical concerns. The show also provides free on-air consultation with guest physicians. The program also conducts regular free medical/dental missions within the ABS-CBN complex in the Philippines. It is aired LIVE every early Saturday 5:45-7:00 a.m. and Sunday 7:30-8:30 a.m. on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN News Channel. Salamat Dok aired its maiden telecast on April 24, 2004 with Cheryl Cosim as its host. It won several awards from prestigious award-giving bodies like the Anak TV Seal in 2006 and 2007, KBP Golden Dove in 2007 and the USTv Students' Choice 2008 as Best Public Service program. It celebrated its 4th anniversary with their anniversary episodes, which featured recent scandals and controversies that rocked the medical community. On March 6, 2010, Bernadette Sembrano permanently replaced Cheryl Cosim, who had moved to TV5. Since August 6, 2011, Alvin Elchico joins Bernadette as the new addition to the show. Veteran news personality and celebrity mom, Jing Castaneda, also joined the team as Program Host on December 2012, taking care of family issues/health, as well as the show's medical missions and healthy cooking segment.

Ciel mon mardi! is a weekly television program presented by Christophe Dechavanne and broadcast on TF1 from May 1988 to June 1992 then from September 2000 to June 2001. The program was divided into three parts: a first serious social debate, under the Bloc Notes section, and a second debate on a lighter subject.
