Over six decades, Richard Demarco CBE, the Scottish artist and iconic promoter has brought 1000s of artists to the Edinburgh Festival and launched the careers of some of the most famous names in contemporary art. Yet today, Demarco struggles to make ends meet and is out of favour with the modern art wold. The film discusses how art has been commodified in society by dominant forces. How can society remedy the absence of art in the lives of those who feel excluded? Demarco wants to put this right before his final breath!

Told by the stars who first found fame at the Edinburgh Fringe, this is the inside story of what it takes to make a name here, from those who enjoyed overnight success to those who slogged for years to make it. Through their triumphs, favourite jokes, and sometimes painful failures, we’ll discover a hidden history of British comedy – revealing how the gags we find funny and the comedians we love reflect our changing culture.

Tadeusz Kantor was a great artist. Not only in its own - the twentieth century. Not only in the area of ​​his homeland - Poland. A well-known Krakow documentalist and at the same time his longtime collaborator - Krysztof Miklaszewski- he decided to reconstruct Kantor's road through Europe.

Against the backdrop of the 1977 Edinburgh Film Festival, two low-budget filmmakers attempt to talk up some finance as they hunt for cash, cast and ‘name director’ Sam Fuller to shoot their Aberdeen-set oil-boom adventure ‘Gulf and Western’. Along the way, they encounter a plethora of filmmaking luminaries including Wim Wenders, Stephen Frears, John Boorman, Bill Forsyth and Alan Bennett.

Ronnie, Wal, Andy and Vic are four bored, unemployed teens in dreary, rainy Glasgow. Ronnie comes up with a great idea. He has noticed that stainless steel sinks are worth a lot of money and comes up with a complicated scheme: to steal sinks from a warehouse dressed as girls and using a stop-motion-potion.

Meeting Jim is a feature length documentary about a journey back to the lifetime of Jim Haynes, an extraordinary 83-year-old man who grabbed with heart and soul the spirit of the 60s and continued to carry it throughout his life.

Buddy McCoy and out of work trucker, has been spending all of his time partying and raising hell, a round of good luck in a contest puts Buddy's butt in a brand new Mack truck so buddy takes his partying ways on the road! His misadventures lead him cross country raising hell. Often Buddy would get into a brawl that resulted in some guy putting a boot to Buddy's face, and Buddy would then have to - ever so politely - remove it with his fist! Women he would pick up might try to overstay there welcome.. trying to stick around for more than one night and Buddy, - ever so gently - would have to let them down and be on his way to the next. On a journey to try and find himself.. Buddy certainly has "ONE HELL OF A TIME"!
