Paradise Lost filmé le 12 avril 2007 à Londres au Koko club lors d’un concert exceptionnel précédant la sortie de son nouvel album, « In Requiem ». Cette prestation était l’occasion pour Paradise Lost de lancer les festivités afin de fêter les 20 ans de sa création.

En novembre 2011, les icônes du doom/gothic metal, Paradise Lost, ont sorti « Draconian Times MMXI », un enregistrement de leur spectacle live à Londres en avril 2011.

The compilation features four shows, leading with the ‘Live Death’ concert from 1989, and followed by a trilogy of captured performances between 1990 & 1991, as Paradise Lost were beginning to mark their gradual ascension with a host of now classic tracks from their early repertoire.

In a career that has spanned 20 years (and counting), Paradise Lost have sold a staggering two million albums worldwide. Their constant reinvention and brazen attitude to musical experimentation has always allowed them to maintain a constant relevance despite the myriad fads and short-lived scenes that have emerged over the last two decades. Indeed few bands that prove so very influential in their infancy maintain the quality of output that Paradise Lost have. They formed the basis of an entirely new genre, gothic metal. Even now, fifteen years later, the influence of Paradise Lost is clearly visible on most Gothic and Heavy Metal bands. Since then the band - named after John Milton's epic 1667 poem - have released a number of musical highlights and genre merging masterpieces.

33 ans après leur création, les anglais PARADISE LOST sont non seulement l'un des groupes de metal les plus influents au monde et les fondateurs du genre gothique metal, mais aussi parmi les groupes les plus variés. Du death, au doom aux hymnes synth pop entraînants, le quintette du Yorkshire n'a jamais hésité à franchir les frontières et est pourtant toujours resté fidèle à lui-même. Enregistré au Mill Nightclub près de la ville natale du groupe dans le Yorkshire, en Angleterre, l'enregistrement du BluRay a été réalisé par Ash Pears.
