Mais quand son université accepte enfin de le réintégrer, Hak Gyu doit mettre un terme à sa relation et revenir à Séoul, malgré les objections de Deok Yi. Huit ans plus tard, Shim Hak Gyu est devenu un écrivain populaire, mais malheureusement il commence à perdre la vue. Pendant ce temps, une certaine « Se Jung » emménage à Séoul.
