Sous la forme d'un roman à la structure temporelle éclatée, on suit le destin d'Adria au travers de terrifiantes exécutions, des moments d'humour et plus subtils d'amour qui vont façonner son existence et sa liberté telle une cage sans barreaux. Des raids aériens de Belgrade au fin fonds obscurs de l'Europe, du désir en embuscade qui pourrait devenir coup de foudre, à ceux qui s'entraident. Telle la frontière invisible d'un pays perdu, Adria est en quête de son identité de femme, obligée de survivre dans un zoo de violence perpétrée par les hommes. Ce n'est pas son milieu, mais elle saura bien s'y faire !

The story takes place in Nis, towards the end of the nineteenth century, during the calm down of the stormy historic events which led to final liberation of southern Serbian parts from Turkish occupation. The comedy is about celebrating traditional saint's day feast, organized by Ivko and how his guests test the Serbian hospitality.

The film is about the workers unpaid for six years who decide to lay down the driveway in front of their factory. Oki is an unemployed factory worker and union leader. His son Gruja is a movie director unemployed for ten years, he shoots weddings and funerals in order to survive and save enough money to shoot his first feature film. White, unemployed opera singer and Gruja's girlfriend, is trying to make money by singing opera arias from house to house. The story is about ruined factories and workers without someone to lead them to a better life.

A man whose life is on the verge of collapse looks for new inspiration in this drama from Serbian filmmaker Milos Radivojevic. On was once a reporter, but now makes his living working as a public relations man for a banking firm. On is in his forties and has started to sink into a mid-life depression. On's wife has left him and while he tries to keep in touch with her and his daughter, he feels they're drifting away from him. On often finds himself retreating into a world of daydreams, which becomes all the more common after he loses his job. On struggles to drown in ennui with alcohol, gambling and meaningless sex, but matters only get worse as he learns that his elderly mother's health is failing, and he can no longer keep up with the bills for her medical care. When On discovers some forgotten savings, he sets out on a vacation in hopes of recapturing his muse, with his beautiful and loyal secretary in tow. Film received its American premiere at the 2008 Palm Springs Film Festival.
