Pendant leur séjour, elles rencontrent Arne et Nico, deux jeunes venus de Hambourg dans leur Coccinelle. Alors que les contacts avec les Allemands de l’Ouest sont strictement interdits, les deux jeunes filles transgressent très vite le règlement rigide du camp et s’en donnent à cœur joie lors de leurs escapades nocturnes. Arne et Doreen sont bientôt follement amoureux. La relation fusionnelle entre les jumelles est dès lors mise à rude épreuve. Sans parler des gentils organisateurs version socialisme réel qui sont bientôt dépassés par les événements.
