22-year-old Alexander is studying at a music college and arrives to his last rehearsal before the final competition. With the help of his teacher, he seeks to remember the reasons he chose his particular instrument—the cello—and his memory reverts to a day in his youth when he gave his last concert as a young chorister.

A young man, Eliot, comes back in his childhood district with the aim of preparing a movie for the Film School's admission exams. He meets up with Florence, a girl he hasn't seen for years. Together they recall the days when Eliot lived to the full thanks only to the super 8 camera his understanding father had offered him, sweeping along in his cinematographic adventures his best friend Maxime, who is wholly different from him and so lively, as well as Florence, whom he secretly had fallen for. The discord will soon lead to competition between the two boys until the day Eliot gets humiliated and changes his film roles in order to gain Florence's favors. But nothing runs as expected.

À Bruxelles, c'est la période des vacances d'été. Une famille de concierges décide de profiter de l'absence de leurs patrons pour troquer, pendant quelques jours, la belle demeure de leurs employeurs. Ils l'échangent contre une superbe maison sur l'île du Couchant, dans le sud de la France. Les couchantins posent leurs affaires en Belgique. Dans leurs valises, ils ont apporté de quoi promouvoir une directive qui pourrait affecter toute l'Europe. Quant aux belges, ils découvrent que leur lieu de vacances a une petite particularité : la partie de l'île où ils résident est naturiste. S'ils veulent profiter de la plage, ils vont devoir se déshabiller...
