Lou Antonio played Sgt. Jack Ramsey, an undercover detective with the Los Angeles Police Department, who found himself teamed with a very green partner named J.Z. Kane. Together they formed a relationship based on friendship and trust that led to them capturing many of L.A.'s criminals. Lieutenant Arthur Kipling was their boss.
"Dog and Cat" is a slang term used by police officers to denote a male-female partnership. The show is especially remembered for the car that Kim Basinger used in the series: a souped-up Volkswagen Beetle with a Porsche engine.

Dec 15, 2019L'histoire commence à Tulsa, petite ville d'Oklahoma, trois ans après une attaque coordonnée de suprématistes blancs contre les forces de l'ordre et leurs familles. À la suite de cet événement tragique – surnommé la Nuit Blanche – les policiers ont décidé de recouvrir leur visage d'un bandana jaune afin de cacher leur identité. Dans ce contexte trouble, la détective Angela Abar et le chef de la police Judd Crawford enquêtent sur une fusillade qui pourrait marquer le retour de la Septième Cavalerie, le groupuscule à l'origine de la terrible Nuit Blanche.
La série Watchmen fait suite aux comics d'Alan Moore et non au film de Zack Snyder. Entre les 2 supports il y a certes peu de différences, mais la série fait parfois référence à certains faits qui ne se sont produits que dans le comic-book. La lecture préalable des comics n'est cependant pas indispensable pour profiter de l'histoire raconté par la série. Elle permet juste de comprendre certains clins d’œils et d'anticiper certains axes scénaristiques.

Jan 03, 1986Launched as a two-hour TV-movie, Our Family Honor is about two New York City families who had known each other since their childhoods and who were involved in competing "family businesses" – the McKay family mostly worked for the New York City Police Department, where Patrick was Commissioner, while the Danzigs were deeply involved in organized crime, with patriarch Vincent filling the role of "godfather". Barbara Stuart played Vincent's wife, Marianne Danzig. Detective Sergeant Frank McKay was Patrick's often hot-headed son, while Vincent's cruel but inept son, Augie, was nonetheless his heir apparent. Liz McKay, Patrick's niece, was a newly-graduated officer now partnered with Officer Ed Santini. She was romantically involved with Vincent's other son, Jerry, who wanted out of his father's business and used the name "Jerry Cole" in order to minimize any connection with his father's family. Another story line involved Vincent's murder of his wife's lover, carried out by Augie; when Frank came to arrest Augie for this crime, Augie died in the ensuing fight. The effect of Augie's death was not revealed.

Dec 27, 1983Just Our Luck is a short-lived American sitcom which aired on the American Broadcasting Company in the fall of 1983. Created by brothers Lawrence and Charles Gordon, it was considered a modernized version of the classic 1960s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie. The series stars Richard Gilliland as a mild-mannered TV weatherman for KPOX-TV, and T. K. Carter as a hip, fun-loving 3,000-year-old genie who is freed by Gilliland after being imprisoned in his bottle for nearly two centuries.
The series was produced by Lorimar Productions, and initially promoted by ABC as one of its new ambitious comedies along with Webster. Just Our Luck was created to compete against The A-Team on NBC but earned low ratings for much of its run. It was poorly received by critics, however, and was the subject of controversy when the NAACP charged the show with promoting negative stereotypes of African-Americans. The NAACP originally campaigned to have the show removed but later settled for a degree of creative control in the show's development. This included changes to Carter's dialogue, the hiring of black staff writers and the addition of Leonard Simon to the cast. The show was cancelled after three months.
