De son côté, Lucianna, qui veut s'évader de la vie miséreuse, s'est laissée emporter dans la luxueuse voiture de Roberto, laissant là son amoureux Renato, chômeur et sans argent; cependant, le soir, écoeurée par la vénalité de Roberto et de son milieu, elle retourne vers Renato. Trop tard, celui-ci est arrêté pour avoir participé à un cambriolage...

After murdering her illegitimate baby, Isabella (Tania Weber) pins the blame on her innocent cousin Consuelo (May Britt). Despite the strenuous efforts of her attorney-lover DeSylva (Ettore Manni), Consuelo is found guilty and shipped to a penal colony along with several other female prisoners.

Aunt Agatha writes to Toto, informing him that she won't send him another penny until he is married.

A lawyer heads out on the road in an attempt to find his daughter who has been missing for quite some time. To help him navigate the secret world his daughter lived within that he knows nothing about, he recruits the help of Irene a close friend of his daughter's. But Irene has plans of her own.

In the mid-1500s, a ship containing Spanish prisoners being sent to a Spanish penal colony in the Caribbean sinks at sea, but some of the prisoners manage to survive and make it to shore at a nearby island. They organize themselves under the leadership of Juan Olivares (dynamically played by charismatic singer-actor Johnny Desmond), manage to take over a ship with some cargo that they barter for supplies, and eventually are asked to fight on behalf of the Spanish crown against the English... or is the request sincere?

September 1943: in the general confusion a thief dressed as a priest and a sergeant exchange clothes and roles.

A man is hospitalized in a neurological clinic, suffering from amnesia. After seeing his photo in the newspaper, Mrs. Ballerini realizes that he is her husband and brings him home; then Mrs. Polacich recognizes him as her husband.
