Nairobi, Kenya. Abila a 14 ans et vit avec ses parents à Kibera, un des plus grands bidonvilles de l’Est de l’Afrique. Un matin, son père délire et dit qu’on lui aurait volé son âme. Abila veut aider son père et s’en va à la recherche d’une solution. Avec l’aide de son amie Shiku, il apprend que son père a perdu au jeu son âme à une femme spirituelle. Quand Abila trouve cette femme dans un coin sombre du bidonville, elle lui donne sept devoirs à résoudre pour regagner l’âme de son père…
