Les Shinkengers blessés et fatigués ont failli perdre, si le Kusare Gedoushu n'avait pas eu besoin de regagner de l'énergie en se laissant tremper dans la rivière Sanzu. Alors que leurs blessures sont traitées, Jii révèle qu'il a trouvé le disque secret utilisé par le premier Shinken Red pour sceller Manpuku au temple Genryu, qui se trouve au milieu du territoire de Kusare Gedoushu. Utilisant le plan de Ryunosuke et Kotoha pour se faufiler en tant que membres de la Nanashi Company, Takeru obtient le Disque Secret Fondateur seulement pour voir qu'il s'agit en fait d'un message énigmatique laissé par le Shinken Red Shiba Retsudō d'obtenir du pouvoir face à lui. Incapables de déchiffrer l'énigme, les Shinkengers perdent espoir jusqu'à ce qu'ils entendent les enfants prier et décident de faire face au Kusare Gedoushu sans le Disque.

The old man takes Yuta on a tour of Onomichi, regaling him with 70 years of its history. Along the way, Grandpa slips in and out of the past, increasingly unable to discern between the two.

Makoto Fujita returns as the protagonist Nakamura Mondo, one of the "shigotonin," a team of hired assassins.

It aired in Japan, first run, from 2003 to 2004, and was popular enough to spawn the 2003 feature film of the same name. Both are based on the Japanese manga, Skyhigh. Shaku stars as Izuko, the Guardian of the Gate to the afterlife.
The basic premise of the television series is somewhat similar in concept to the American series, Ghost Whisperer, in which the protagonist must use her powers to guide the dead on their journey to the afterlife by helping them determine the meaning or circumstance of their death. However, in Izuko's case, no matter how hard she tries, her guidance does not always result in a happy ending.

When serial killings and injuries occur, she is also the first to realise that the victims' names are linked to a word game in which one victim’s name contains the last character of the name of the previous victim. Hitomi uses detective Togawa of the First Investigative Division, whom she became acquainted with after finding discrepancies in his receipts and scheming lawyer Shirai Shinnosuke who works his way into the favour of victims to find work that pays well, to get close to the truth of the case.
