Sur la frontière entre l'Albanie et la Yougoslavie, une petite caserne où une nouvelle génération de soldats s'ennuient en attendant la fin de leur service militaire, comptant les jours où ils pourront enlever leur uniforme et retourner pour de bon dans la ville civile. C'est l'été 1987 et cela n'aurait traversé l'esprit d'aucun d'entre eux qu'ils allaient, en fait, repartir vite sur le front. Ce sont les derniers jours d'un pays appelé Yougoslavie. Mais personne ne s'en doute.

Il y a des moments dans la vie où tout se passe merveilleusement bien. Sasha va pouvoir prendre son envol et s éloigner de son père un peu trop possessif. Elle va épouser Stephan, et quitter Belgrade pour le Canada. Mais un accident de voiture contrecarre ses plans, Stephan se retrouve à l hôpital, et Lana, la s ur de ce dernier, accourt en apprenant la nouvelle. Lana est photographe, fantasque et elle ne cache pas son goût pour la gente féminine. Par jeu, elle provoque Sasha, si sûre d elle, si comme il faut, mais ce jeu du chat et de la souris va prendre une tournure nouvelle et dépasser les deux jeunes femmes. Dans ce thriller psychologique sombrement comique mais non moins sexy, Dragan Marinkovi aborde des thèmes contemporains et dépeint avec justesse une société serbe en pleine mutation.

In another story, Šomi and Duje anxiously follow the football match between Manchester and Eastwich. They bet on Eastwich, because their childhood friend Kengur is their goalkeeper. The plot of the third story takes place on the roof of the solitaire, where Avaks and Hibrid are wasting time in anticipation of something happening.

Ranjeni orao was a Serbian television show produced in 2008 and aired on RTS1 during late 2008 and early 2009. The 17 episode series is based on the 1936 novel "Ranjeni orao" by Serbian author Mir Jam. The show had unprecedented success with the last episode averaging over 3 million viewers, making it the most watched Serbian television series ever made.
