Seize personnes de « L’Agence des recherches sur Internet » ont fait fureur sur les réseaux américains, évoquant à des millions d'utilisateurs des sentiments de peur, d’excitation et en les faisant mourir de rire. Ils ont étudié les méthodes permettant d'influencer l'opinion publique par l’intermédiaire de la toile mondiale. Aux États-Unis, ils ont été surnommés "les trolls russes". Les gars ne s'intéressaient pas à la politique, mais c’est la politique qui s'est intéressée à eux. Les agences de renseignement américaines ont commencé la chasse aux trolls russes. Le gouvernement américain s'est fixé pour objectif de détruire ce groupe d’enthousiastes. Les gars n'avaient pas le choix... sauf celui de changer le gouvernement américain. Ils avaient besoin de la victoire de Trump.

Russian Empire, 1919. By a twist of fate, young idealist Osip Zadunaisky meets an infamous con artist and self-proclaimed Turkish subject Ibrahim Bender. A man of pure thought and aristocratic upbringing, Osip would never have associated with a cunning and unscrupulous swindler, but Bender comes up with an offer Osip cannot refuse. A precious royal relic, a diamond-encrusted golden scepter is hidden somewhere in town; Bender needs a partner on his mission to find it, and offers Osip a share of the profit from selling the treasure. And so begins their joint venture, wrought with comical and dangerous twists and turns, where they have to outsmart and outmaneuver officers of the White Guard as well as the local mafia, who also have their eyes on the scepter. As their quest unfolds, Osip is compelled to learn Bender’s tricks of the trade: charming flattery, delicate deception, soft intimidation... as well as brute force.

Petr is not only a successful writer but also is the owner of the agen- cy called Alibi — that creates alibis for the clients who need to hide their lies and failures. His second business is hidden, so he himself has a double life. But his attitude to lies changes when his own wife appears at the agency asking for an alibi. From this moment on, he will solve not only his client’s problems, but his own. Unfortu- nately, he’ll be able to help everyone but himself.
