Pétur is an optometrist happily married to Ásta. They are expecting a child but already have a 10 year old boy named Örn. On coincidense Pétur finds out that he is not Örn's biological father.

December is a present-day tale set in Reykjavik during the holiday season. Jonni (Tomas Lemarquis) returns to Iceland to spend Christmas with his family and to record an album with his old (one-hit-wonder) band. He soon finds out that circumstances in his family have changed dramatically and his friends have moved on. We follow Jonni as he deals with this blunt new reality. Tomas Lemarquis, the star of Noi the Albino, plays Jonni, a musician who after a long time living abroad returns to home Iceland to spend Christmas with his family and record an album with his old (one-hit-wonder) band. He soon finds out that family circumstances have changed dramatically and that his friends have moved on. Dealing with this blunt new reality, Jonni also has to wrestle with the reigniting of an old flame, as he helps his family make Christmas merry in spite of everything.

Páll thinks he is just like everyone else, that is until he begins to have vivid visions about life after death. At first he has a open mind about them, but discovers through them an evil plot. The visions show him a spree of killing of important people within society. A panic ensues, and Páll gets tangled in a plot with powerful people and a cult that could destroy society.

A young journalist who is on the last chance, both in his job and his relationship because of his drinking problem. He decides to try to save the relationship by taking the girlfriend to a hotel in the Eastern Iceland to get peace and some space with her. But as this is decided, his boss makes him two choices, to keep the job and work the weekend or lose the job to hang out with the girlfriend. At least he tries to strike two birds with one stone, but we'll see how that goes.

Un groupe de touristes embarque sur un bateau d'observation et part pour ce qui devait être une balade tranquille afin de découvrir la vie sauvage islandaise... Mais le bateau tombe en panne et le groupe est secouru par les marins d'un autre navire, qui se révèle être un baleinier. La pêche à la baleine n'étant plus autorisée, le petit groupe va vite devenir la cible d'une chasse à l'homme dans les eaux glacées d'Islande.

Finnur, cardiologue réputé, est père de deux enfants. Lorsque sa fille Anna se met à fréquenter un garçon manipulateur qui fait du trafic de drogue, sa vie de famille commence à se détériorer. Constatant que l’emprise du petit ami d’Anna commence à être de plus en plus importante, aussi bien sur la jeune fille que sur l’ensemble de la famille, Finnur sait qu’il n’a plus le choix et qu’il va devoir prendre des mesures drastiques.

There once was a girl named Anna Young. One day, her family is waiting for their perfect daughter to arrive at the breakfast table and kiss them good morning as always. But this morning Anna wakes up with a horrible illness. She looks like a sad version of Marilyn Manson and is terribly moody. Not realizing what is “wrong” with their daughter, Anna’s parents decide to take her to Dr. Artmanns’ clinic for kids with behavioural problems. In his analysis of Anna, Dr. Artmann uses a huge labyrinth where Anna is exposed to various tasks. The only way out of the maze for Anna is to complete her tasks in the right manners. But the right way is not necessarily what the parents think to be the right one.

17 year-old Pétur has a hard time deciding what to do when he suddenly gets the opportunity to take revenge on the classmate bullying him.

A young man has to go to the hospital for an operation. Upon his arrival he watches paramedics roll out a deceased person from the hospital room he is about to be checked in to. Lying in bed with nothing to do his mind starts to wander. He strikes up a conversation about life with an old man who paints a rather dark picture of what can happen during one’s stay in a hospital. The old man shares his ironic philosophy on life, causing him great anxiety. Will he make it out alive?
