Many women participated in the Mexican Revolution and were erased from history. Their names do not appear as the heroines they were, alongside the most important leaders of the heroic deed. As ideologues, they played an important role from their trench of activists, teachers, journalists and messengers. The documentary brings names like Carmen Serdán, Hermila Galindo, Dolores Jiménez Muro, Elvia Carrillo Puerto, Elena Arizmendi, Sara Pérez de Madero, to the front and recognizes their value in the formation of a nation.

Mais le réalisateur Luis Urquiza choisit de structurer son film à travers le largement incompréhensible, s'interrogeant les yeux de Julián, 13 ans, qui passe des bras de sa famille pastorale aimante aux salles austères et sacrées du séminaire. Désignant le garçon comme son disciple intime, l'installant dans ses somptueux quartiers privés et le redoublant de «Sacramento Santos», le père Ángel commence l'instruction de Julian sur les mystères de «l'obéissance parfaite», dont la règle cardinale est: ne jamais remettre en question les actions d'un supérieur.

A group of American soldiers travel into Mexico for an unknown mission and they encounter a surprising world which changes their views.

The story follows a man searching for a lost book, by a mysterious author, that reminds him of a past love. The search takes him to start a road-trip through México (starting at the capital and ending in la sierra de Guanajuato), the same trip that the book described. In the narrative two voices interact: one describing the journey, and a second one speaking fragments of Retorno, the enigmatic book.

"Everybody's Got Somebody... Not Me" - Alejandra is sick of her daily life and her past relationships that have not worked out. Then she meets María, an adolescent, with whom she has an affair. At first everything runs smoothly, however Alejandra´s personality and her emotional needs prove increasingly demanding; being around her becomes unbearable. Mexico’s half-forgotten B-movie master, “involuntary surrealist” Juan Orol (1897–1988), receives a pitch-perfect tribute in this deft, irresistible love letter to a self-made man of showbiz whose career spanned half a century and nearly 60 films. Abetted by an all-pro cast, del Amo’s brilliant interpretation of Orol’s life exudes a droll underdog charm, and almost every frame is an infectious homage to the golden age of cinema, the wiles of memory, and the art of fantasy.

Cata, an art expert originally from Mexico, is in a personal and professional rut. By chance he meets Iago, who sells trinkets to inexperienced collectors.
