Upon being separated and sold to their new bosses, the two boys swear eternal friendship. Romeo has to learn the hardships of a chimney sweep's job.

L'extrême force et l'agilité féline de Nukunuku sont régulièrement nécessaires pour protéger Ryunosuke et son père de la mère de Ryunusuke qui cherche à les kidnapper tous les deux après son divorce avec son père. Ses motivations envers Ryunusuke sont un simple amour maternel, mais son ex-mari, inventeur de génie, veut mettre au travail la conception d'armes de destruction massive pour son entreprise d'armement.
