Dec 17, 1982São Paulo, late 30's. Alberto (Paulo César Pereio) is an intellectual and professor who announces to his friend and pupil Polidoro (Nuno Leal Maia) he won a scholarship to study in Paris. In Paris Polidoro receives a letter in which Alberto announces that he married Helena (Ana Maria Nascimento e Silva). Polidoro returns to Brazil in 1945, when there was a strong political agitation against the New State. Alberto invites Polidoro to spend a few days at his home in Campos do Jordão. After reaching the site he is told by Helena that Alberto was forced to travel urgently. She insists he should stay there until the return of her husband and, while waiting, she seduces him. Then, after several days of intense passion, she orders Polidoro to go away and never see her again.

Mar 20, 1983Vídeo Show is a long-running Brazilian TV program on Globo TV. From its debut in 1983 to 1994, the show aired weekly. Since then, it has been airing from Monday to Friday at 1:45 pm, following the lunchtime news, Jornal Hoje and being one of the most-watched afternoon shows.
Currently hosted by the actor André Marques, its format is that of a daily "electronic magazine", where the network's backstages are shown, with on-set and behind-the-scenes footage on Globo's series and telenovelas, including bloopers, interviews with the actors, directors and authors, funny segments with scenes from soaps, and old videos from the network's archives.
At the end of the show, there is the Vídeo Game segment, consisting on a week-long game show hosted by Angélica, where actors, divided into two teams, must answer questions and complete funny tasks related to the network's current and/or past shows. The winner team is announced on Friday, and donates the prize to a charity of their choice.
The opening theme is based on Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough, by Michael Jackson.

Gaspar, a former beatnik, is over 40 but still practices surfing, lives in a beach-side house and raises five children: Elvis (named after Elvis Presley), Ringo (Starr), Jane (Fonda), Olívia (Newton-John) and (John) Lennon, all from different mothers who left them with him. Anastácia "Naná" Passos, Duda's friend and mentor, loves him platonically, and rivalizes with Mariza Borges over him. Alex by contrast is a yuppie. He and their mother Morgana have a love-hate relationship and rivalry with his brother over Morgana's attention and the company. Alex begins to love Duda, however she falls in love with Lucas, a graffiti artist who is on the run from the São Paulo police due to his involvement in a crime there. He is also searching for his real father, and thinks it's either Alex or Gaspar.

La jeune maman y rencontre Théo, un militaire assez conventionnel dévoué à Saint-Georges. Devenus fiancés, elle craint de dépendre de Théo qui souhaite sortir sa famille de la favela. On lui conseille alors une agence offrant aux jeunes des quartiers difficiles des emplois saisonniers à l'étranger. Morena confie son garçon à sa mère Lucimar (une femme de ménage) et accepte de partir quelques mois en Turquie. À son arrivée à Istanbul, elle découvre honteusement qu'elle a été recrutée par des proxénètes.
Loin de là, la Cappadoce attire de nombreux touristes brésiliens en Turquie. Accueillis par le guide Zyah, ils découvrent les terres de Saint Georges.
Au Brésil, l'une des patronnes de Lucimar, la commissaire Helo entretient des liens familiaux et amicaux avec la Turquie. Ceci l'amène à enquêter sur des adoptions illégales et du trafic de femmes vers ce pays.
