A psychological and existential study of a prisoner charged with guarding an isolated lighthouse. Incited by a disillusioned young man who has decided to flee from civilization, a group of 4 people go searching for freedom and happiness on an isolated island . When their boat goes astray and they are left without food, their animal instincts take over, bringing the film to its catastrophic end.

Not the sort of film we usually see coming from Israel, this teen horror-comedy is a loving tribute to American films of the 80s. Mili and Noam are high-school students who intend to celebrate their six-month anniversary by losing their virginity. What begins as an innocent pedal boat ride full of raging hormones, becomes a struggle against monstrous cats out for blood. This self-parodying low, low budget, independently produced feature is filled with surprises as well as hilarious oddball charm.

Ahasverus, king of Persia and Media, puts aside Vashti and makes Esther his queen, choosing her among maidens in a kingdom stretching from India to Ethiopia. Esther, using information from Mordecai, her uncle and patron, saves the king from assassination. Haman, the king's favorite, is miffed when Mordecai won't bow to him, so he orders death to all Jews in the kingdom, under the seal of the king. Esther pleads for her people, and Mordecai is in turn given license to make his own edict under the king's seal. Mordecai loses sight of his original intention, and bloody murder ensues. Purim annually celebrates the story. At the end of the film, the actors comment.

They inspect their target. The two men are already in their 70's. Quixote is having difficulties mounting his horse and Sancho struggles with his tools. But Don Quixote is determined to attack.

Ils méprisent leur entourage, sont nostalgiques de leur passe. Ils appartiennent à cette génération des années soixante-dix, où ils s'efforçaient de donner un sens à leur vie. Nota : Les premiers dialogues du film, bizarrement, ne sont pas sous-titrés. Toutefois, on comprend qu’il s’agit des dernières volontés du défunt.
