La Baie est un magnifique domaine, convoité par tous. La propriétaire, une vieille comtesse paralytique, refuse de vendre car elle ne veut pas le voir transformé en station balnéaire. Ventura, un architecte sans scrupule, met au point une machination criminelle pour s'emparer du site. Pendant ce temps, quatre jeunes gens entrent par effraction dans une villa du domaine, jusqu'à ce que l'une des filles découvre un cadavre flottant dans la Baie...

A small town in Italy is about to celebrate their patron saint. The city is full of people with different problems. A Communist in existentialist crisis that also must take care of his mentally ill wife. A woman who is tired of her husband's inability to show emotions and therefore more and more often slips into the world of dreams. A perverse butcher engaged in sex with the meat he sells when he's not peeping on young girls. A girl who became pregnant after having sex with her father. In this town a mysterious stranger show up and who turns on several of the inhabitants lives.

A young man named Andrea arrives in a small villa and intends to stay in a hotel located on the outskirts. At the reception, a girl, Marta, urges her to stay better in the village, that they are complete. But the traveler insists and gets the room. There you will witness that the inn really works as a luxury brothel to satisfy the sexual whims of wealthy customers. Marta is married to a man older than her, anchored in a wheelchair, who desires Laura, a young lady who loves his wife and is a prostitute of the select clients. Marta embauca to the young woman promising that when they get enough money they will go away together of all that, but Andrea is not there by chance.

With her sister's help, an unhappy housewife plots her revenge upon the men who have mistreated her with a display of sexual excess.

Ce film, basé sur des faits réels, raconte l'histoire de la nonne de Monza. Celle-ci s'est retirée au couvent afin d'y prononcer ses vœux. Bien vite, elle assiste à un déferlement de débauche et malgré sa foi profonde, elle en éprouve un certain plaisir. Pour se punir, elle se ceint la poitrine de ronces et se fait flageller par une autre soeur. Mais malgré ses efforts désespérés, elle succombe aux plaisirs de la chair et commence alors pour elle une descente aux enfers ponctuée par les meurtres, disparitions, mutilations et toutes sortes d'horreurs nécessaires pour préserver le secret du couvent du DIABLE.

Bruno est un héros idéaliste qui questionne le sens de la vie dans ce drame érotique déroutant et parfois hallucinatoire. Après une nuit difficile en prison, il est violé par un groupe de punks dans un dépotoir. Il sauve plus tard un vieil homme qu'il croit être Garibaldi et une femme qu'il croit être Ophelia. Bruno regardera impuissant la suite des évènements.

Set in the USA, the plot concerns Thomas Norton, a researcher in the field of lie detection, who provides his services to courts and private industry. One day he idly attaches electrodes to a plant in his office, and is surprised to find it responds with recognisable emotional reactions to the stimuli he gives it. He pursues this research, and keeps a plant wired up in his lab. When a woman who lives in his building is mysteriously murdered in his lab, the plant is the only witness to the crime.
