She stays behind, not only worrying about the weather being far too warm, but also has to put up with her Christmas-crazy neighbor and his family and receive her conspiracy-obsessed in-laws-to-be while Mani stays overnight with her. On Christmas Eve, fate and the weather really start to shake up Liane.

Léa Sommer, incarnée par Hannelore Elsner, est une commissaire de police criminelle tenace, volontaire, impulsive. Au départ, son équipe est composée de Henning Burre, incarné par Karlheinz Lemken, et du jeune Nick Siegel, incarné par Til Schweiger, qui, lors de la saison 2 en 1996, sera tué par balle sous les yeux de sa supérieure profondément touchée par cet événement. Elle n’hésitera pas à tirer sur l’assassin de son jeune policier. Il sera remplacé par Jan Orlop, incarné par Thomas Scharff. Notons également la présence du policier Ingo Esser (saison 6) incarné par Walter Renneisen. De manière très récurrente, elle est au téléphone avec son ami Jonathan, visiblement toujours aux quatre coins du monde pour raisons professionnelles. Le rôle de Jonathan ne sera jamais vraiment incarné, sinon une ou deux fois, très brièvement et sans scénario.
