The film tells the story of friendship. The story is centered around an eventful New Year celebration of five friends and the sequence of events following it in the next few days.

Shanthanu who was a navy officer pines over a girl whom he loved 15 years ago and had to leave the navy because of his affair with her.Since the girl (Nadira) whom he loved was underage (15 years), both of them agree to wait to show their love is true, to the Nawabi father (Jaffer), who is also Shanthanu's Commanding Officer and Flag officer. Shanthanu lost touch with Nadira for 2 years, his search for her lead him to Kavaratti, Lakshadweep.

A kind-hearted government employee in his forties, who spends most of his time with youngsters, selflessly intervenes in the problems of his near and dear ones.

Kasaragod-based financier Nithyananda Shenoy also gets embroiled in it, and drawn into the scene are also a few underprivileged folk in Kochi. Dramatic situations surrounding the hotchpotch ensue, as each one tries to set their lives straight.
