Bosco Hogan plays Joyce's alter-ego, Stephen Daedelus, growing up in Ireland in the early part of the 20th century, and at odds with the strictures of his Catholic home and family. The film charts his search for knowledge and understanding, during a decline in his family's circumstances, that leads him to revelations on the nature of art, beauty and politics. However his personal renaissance makes him feel unwelcome in his own country, and forces him to make a choice between exile as artist or staying and facing personal defeat.

Leah is eager to visit her uncle's ranch in Ireland, until her attempt to ride her cold cousin Shannon's horse results in Silky being injured and she is ordered not to ride again. When she meets Lucky, a leprechaun who only communicates with her, she learns that the beautiful white beast she's glimpsed from afar is in fact a bewitched fairy Sorica, who needs help retrieving a magical horn to return to her true form and her own world. Now Leah must juggle secretly helping Lucky, whose reasons for helping might not just be out of kindness; putting up with Shannon; and trying to win Uncle Jaques' trust by entering her newfound "horse" in the local race.

Christophe Bardol, un photographe français, est chargé d'un reportage sur un match en Irlande. Après avoir été battu par trois frères, membres de l'équipe de rugby qu'il photographiait, il apprend qu'il a eu un fils conçu dix ans plus tôt avec leur sœur Spring Kavanaugh, une belle irlandaise.Christophe retourne en Irlande avec un ami, déterminé à rencontrer son fils. Il voit de nouveau la mère de son fils et est déterminé à l'épouser, mais Spring a d'autres projets.
