C’est l’histoire de Mr Six, un homme de 50 ans qui règne sur les rues de Beijing depuis plusieurs années. Un jour, il apprend que son fils, Xiaobo, rencontre des problèmes avec le leader d’un gang, Xiaofei. Il aide son fils à rembourser ses dettes grâce à l’aide de ses amis, mais rien ne se passe comme prévu. Malgré le diagnostique médicale de Mr Six, il fait appel à ses anciens membres pour un combat avec le gang adverse.

The new year is approaching, the middle-aged screenwriter Wang Ziliang (Wu Gang) alone is burdened by layers of stress, dealing with multiple issues such as career, family, and interpersonal relationships, feeling "sad in the new year". Through the pictures she sends back via internet, Biyun finally gets to see the familiar face once again.

The focus is mainly on the three power blocs that emerged from the remnants of the Han dynasty, and would eventually form the three states of Cao Wei, Shu Han, and Eastern Wu.
