L'inspecteur de police Bacon et les flics se présentent à la recherche de la mystérieuse femme; Murdock la cache. Murdock accompagne les flics pour discuter du meurtre dont la femme est soupçonnée. Bacon explique (en flashback) comment certains photogs préparaient un coup avec Girard et Redfield.
