Snehapoorvam Anna is a 2000 Malayalam romantic film starring Vaibhavi Merchant and Innocent. It was written by Hari Kumar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan. The film concerns the relationship between a father and his daughter. Anna (Vaibhavi Merchant) is her father's (Innocent) only daughter. He has the dream of marrying her to someone according to his wish. However, she falls in love with a boy and this shakes the relationship between the daughter and father.

Hari, a Chennai-based software engineer, falls in love with Pooja. After having settled in life, Hari returns to his village in Kerala, years after falling out with his father. Pooja too arrives and does her best to reconcile the estranged father and son.

Attempting to kickstart his career, Karthik makes a documentary on Alzheimer's disease. His subject, Malathi Menon, lives in a small town outside Harippad with her daughter Athira. Karthik and his team arrive at Malathi's place and start noticing Malathi's unexplainable behavior, where she starts speaking in an ancient language and scribbling on certain pictures.
