After being estranged from his Druze village and family for 17 years, Yoseph returns with his two Israeli, teenage children. His marriage to a Jewish Israeli woman has just ended and he plans to settle down there. Après "Le Scaphandre et Le Papillon", Julian Schnabel retrace l'histoire de femmes dont les destinées s'entrelacent sur trois générations, animées par une quête éperdue de justice, d'espoir et de réconciliation dans un monde assombri par les conflits, la fureur et la guerre. Miral est l'une d'entre elles.
