JanGo tells the story of two best friends who work in a durian field. One day, they made the decision to leave their hometown for a better life in the city. Unintentionally, they are offered by two chiefs of research agencies to become secret agents and carry out missions to China.

This deadpan experiment in "anti-narrative" functions as the husk of a story about a man named He, his acquaintance and lodger, Mao, and a woman named Zheng, the three of whom are involved in what may or may not be a love triangle.
