L'histoire, d'après un fait divers réel, de Ray Fernandez et Marcha Beck, amants criminels qui suppriment les candidates au mariage un peu mûres mais riches. Pendant leur détention, ils ne cesseront d'échanger une correspondance amoureuse jusqu'à leur exécution.
