The Doctor and Leela must catch a killer on a vast mining ship run by robots and humans.

In 1981, Gerd Heidemann, a war correspondent and reporter with the German magazine Stern, makes what he believes is the literary and historical scoop of the century: the personal diaries of Adolf Hitler. Over the next two years, Heidemann and the senior management figures at Stern secretly pay 10 million German marks to a mysterious 'Dr Fischer' for the sixty volumes of 'Hitler's diaries'. However, to the dismay of all, it is discovered after the publication of first extract that the diaries are crude forgeries, faked by Stuttgart criminal Konrad Kujau.

Enemy At The Door is a British television drama series made by London Weekend Television for ITV. The series was shown between 1978 and 1980 and dealt with the German occupation of Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands, during the Second World War. The programme generated a certain amount of criticism in Guernsey, particularly for being obviously filmed on Jersey despite being ostensibly set on Guernsey. The series also marked the TV debut of Anthony Head as a member of the island resistance. The theme music was by Wilfred Josephs.

Based on real-life experiences, Tenko remains one of the most fondly remembered and acclaimed BBC dramas of the early 1980s. It follows a group of women, formerly comfortably well-off ex-pats living in Singapore, as they are captured by the Japanese during World War II.

En 1999, la Terre entrepose ses déchets nucléaires sur la Lune où est déjà installée la base lunaire "Alpha". Le 13 septembre, une explosion de ces stocks provoque une telle réaction en chaîne que la Lune quitte l’orbite terrestre puis le système solaire. Dans l’incapacité de regagner la Terre, les 311 survivants commandés par le charismatique commandant Koenig, errent sur l’astre dans le cosmos et affrontent toutes sortes de dangers.

Dans le parc national de Waratah, en Australie, Matt Hammond est garde forestier. Il élève seul ses deux enfants, Mark l’adolescent et Sonny son petit frère. Vivant au cœur de la nature, cette famille partage son quotidien avec Skippy, un kangourou astucieux. Le fidèle compagnon est de toutes les aventures aux côtés des Hammond.

The BBC's answer to Dynasty, Howards' Way was launched in 1985 with an enormous 1 million pound budget. The main characters in the show were 'best boat designer in the world' Tom Howard, his boutique running wife Jan Howard, 'I'll have a drink' Jack Rolfe and a nasty man called Ken Masters. It starred Maurice Colbourne.
