A story of two friends, Marco (Kyle Fields) and Damian (James Jackson) one white, one black, former high school football teammates who try to find a place for themselves as men in a neighborhood they no longer recognize Red Hook, Brooklyn. As each tries to move forward, economic and family obligations pull them back.

A forlorn teenager abandoned in New York City spirals out of control, from a troubled kid to an accidental addict, after he mistakes the welcoming embrace of a Lower East Side drug dealer for the love of family.

Durant l'été 1985, David Myers, 20 ans, décroche un emploi saisonnier dans un country club du New Jersey majoritairement fréquenté par des juifs. Entre des clients pas toujours faciles et des employés pas toujours sympathiques, le jeune homme tente de découvrir quelle direction donner à sa vie.
