En quête de popularité, le vampire Lestat s'initie à la musique rock et devient le chanteur d'un groupe underground. La raison de son succès : son allure et ses manières de vampire. Nuit après nuit, des groupies se pressent dans sa somptueuse demeure, lui fournissant en abondance le sang frais nécessaire à sa survie. Au cours de sa fulgurante ascension, Lestat fait la rencontre de Jesse Reeves, une étudiante anglaise, nièce de la vampire Maharet. Fragile, désorientée, la jeune fille s'offre à Lestat et demande à être initiée par lui. Mais pour la première fois, celui-ci se refuse à profiter d'une innocente. En rompant avec la traditionnelle discrétion des vampires, Lestat s'attire la haine de Marius, son ancien maître, et réveille la soif de pouvoir de la reine Akasha, qui décide d'en faire son compagnon.

The Ferals was an Australian children's comedy television series created by Wendy Gray and Claire Henderson and produced by the ABC. It ran from 1994 to 1995, and it featured a mixture of people and animal puppets known as the "Ferals." It was lauded for its irreverent humour and distinctive characters, some of which still feature today on ABC programming. Garth Frost was responsible for the puppet design.

Rock Star is a television series produced by Mark Burnett in which aspiring singers from all around the world competed to become the lead singer of a featured group. It debuted on CBS on July 11, 2005, to mediocre ratings. The show was hosted by television personality and commercial spokeswoman Brooke Burke and Jane's Addiction & Red Hot Chili Peppers lead guitarist Dave Navarro. In season one Australian band INXS chose J.D. Fortune as their new lead singer. For season two, the band Rock Star Supernova chose Lukas Rossi as the lead singer of their new supergroup.

The Greg Behrendt Show is a daytime talk show which premiered in syndication on September 12, 2006. The show was distributed by Sony Pictures Television Distribution and was taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. In addition to airing in syndication, the show was carried nationwide over Superstation WGN, which aired the show at 2 PM ET until its final weeks when they moved the show to 2 AM ET. The network replaced the show with The Steve Wilkos Show in the slot following its final episode. The show was also streamed on the Sony website.
