À la nuit des temps des temps. À l’origine, de simples organismes monocellulaires de couleur jaune, les Minions ont évolué au cours des âges au service de maîtres plus abjects les uns que les autres. Les disparitions répétitives de ceux‐ci, des tyrannosaures à Napoléon, ont plongé nos mignons personnages dans une profonde dépression. Mais l’un d’eux, prénommé Kevin, a une idée. Flanqué de Stuart, l’adolescent rebelle et de l’adorable petit Bob, Kevin part à la recherche d’un nouveau patron malfaisant pour guider les siens. Nos trois Minions se lancent dans un palpitant voyage qui va les conduire à leur nouveau maître… qui s’avère être une maîtresse : Scarlet Overkill, la première super‐vilaine de l’histoire. De l’Antarctique au New York des années 60, nos trois compères arrivent finalement à Londres, à l’apogée des mods, où ils vont devoir faire face à la plus terrible menace de leur existence : l’annihilation de leur espèce.

George Segal joue Steve Blackburn, un père de famille marié qui a une règle : « ne jamais tromper sa femme dans la ville où elle est ». Après avoir partagé un taxi ensemble, Steve invite Vicky à boire un thé, à déjeuner. Enfin, Vicky avoue vouloir une aventure sans lendemain. Steve explique alors à sa femme qu'il doit aller à Málaga pour le travail alors qu'il organise des vacances avec Vicky.

French Fields is a British situation comedy. It ran for 19 episodes from 5 September 1989 to 8 October 1991. It was written by John T. Chapman and Ian Davidson and was produced by Thames Television for ITV. The series starred Anton Rodgers and Julia McKenzie as husband and wife William and Hester Fields and followed the series Fresh Fields, which ran from 7 March 1984 to 23 October 1986. At the end of the last series of Fresh Fields, William accepted a position with a French company. French Fields follows Hester and William after they make the move to Calais. Other regular cast included their French real estate agent Chantal, who was also the Fields' neighbour to the left. On the right, were the horrible and snobbish English couple the Trendles. Hester and William also coped with Madame Remoleux, an unintelligible and ancient French woman who lived in and cared for the estate — called Les Hirondelles — where they all lived. Also, popping in on a regular basis, were local farmer and mayor Monsieur Dax and his daughter Marie-Christine, to whom Hester did her best to teach English. Nicholas Courtney also appeared frequently as the Marquis.
