Arne Anka had been declared dead as a comic strip character since a few months back. However, by this time Charlie Christensen's (a.k.a. Alexander Barks) creation had reached status as quite a cult phenomenon, so the play must have been received with much anticipation and enthusiasm, so much so that it was filmed and subsequently released on video-tape.

Maria is 8 years old and thinks her younger brother is really annoying. She meets Makka in the neighborhood who has a magic ball. In some way Maria wishes her brother away. When the babysitter Gerda turns up Maria and Makka think she's the answer to Maria's wish - a witch that has come to abduct her brother. Maria who deeply regrets her wish must now do everything in her power to stop Gerda.

A bomb threat is called in to a police station in Stockholm. The police bomb squad blows the briefcase to pieces and it looks like false alarm, until a baby is found inside. Soon, e-mails are sent out to every newspaper about the nasty situation that the police had tried to keep secret. Will the police ever overcome the "Monster"?

They have since been repeated numerous times. The series was revived for a third season in 2007. Svensson, Svensson is one of the most successful sitcoms in Swedish television history. During the second season, each episode gathered more than 2.5 million viewers, in a country which at the time had a population of around 8.8 million people. The most watched episode was broadcast on 17 November 1996 and gathered 3,395,000 viewers. The series centres around the Svensson family who lives in the Vivalla area of Örebro. The family consists of the father Gustav who works as mailman, the mother Lena who works at a bank, their teenage daughter Lina and their son Max. For the revival, Gustav has had to retire from his work at the post office, while Lena works for the local government. Max now works at the bank and Lina has married the conductor John who brought his daughter Greta into the family.

It is summertime and the campaign for the upcoming parliament election is in full swing. A young policeman is the first victim of a political terrorist who guns down senior officials and politicians. The two police inspectors Anna Holt and Bo Jarnebring are two of the policemen investigating. It is soon obvious that the murderer is in full control and knows every step they take. And some politicians and high officials are primarily interested in using the investigation to gain votes or make a career...
