A comedy of love and misunderstandings, in the tradition of Mexican Telenovela's. Featuring Mexico's brightest soap-stars and beauty queens. Mario and Roberto are best friends. Mario has financial problems and seeks to marry a wealthy lady to solve his problems, while Roberto is in search of true love. Teresa, Irma and Alicia are beautiful ladies, each with their own agenda. Mario thinks Teresa is rich, and she plays along to fool him, while Alicia is in love with a gay guy and can't seem to straighten him out. The story unfolds one weekend through parties and revelations that leave no one untouched and everyone unsatisfied.

Danna Paola stars as Patito, Eleazar Gómez as Mateo, Violeta Isfel and Cynthia Klitbo, play antagonist roles as Antonella and Bianca. The telenovela features adult protagonists also, René Strickler and Vanessa Guzmán. It first aired on Sunday, 8 March 2009, as the first telenovela to debut on a Sunday in Mexico. After a year of success, becoming a major hit in Mexico, especially among children, its final episode was also on a Sunday, 7 March 2010.

It is a remake of Viviana, a Mexican telenovela from 1978. It starred Bibi Gaytán, Eduardo Capetillo, and Adamari López and is the story of a simple country girl brought to the big city, but abandoned when her new husband bigamously marries his employer's daughter.

Violeta lives with her uncle because her mother died soon after she was born and she never knew her father, she stays with her grandmother from time to time as well. Violeta has a boyfriend named Ángel who gives her a pet dog. While at her grandmother's house, Violeta discovers a time machine that her grandfather built, so she and her friends travel to different time periods. They visit several important events in Mexican history, learning these stories firsthand.
