Set in the mid-1970s, the film is based on the true story of Yoshiharu Yamaguchi, a teacher and former Japanese international rugby union player, who turned-around a failing high school in Kyoto, giving special attention to the rugby team, which included the most disruptive students among its members.

With the recession still occurring in Japan and the area of Osaka thought to be hit hardest by the economic downtown, Osaka's gubernatorial election occurs. The surprise winner of the election is Sekai no Nabeatsu (Atsumu Watanabe). Three months into his gubernatorial term and with little help from national government, Sekai no Nabeatsu declares Osaka an independent country and takes office as its first President. The Osaka Police then receives a message warning of an impending assassination attempt on the President of Osaka. Police Detectives Hayakawa (Daisuke Miyagawa) and Banba (Kendo Kobayashi) then set out to search for the criminal group. Can the bumbling detectives protect the president? Will there be a future for the country?

Dans le Royaume des Diamants souterrain, où de nombreux Strassie vivent, le Pokémon fabuleux Diancie en est le chef. Le Cœur de Diamant qui assure la pérennité du royaume s'éteint peu à peu et Diancie n'est pas encore suffisamment forte pour en créer un nouveau. Alors qu'elle recherche l'aide du Pokémon légendaire Xerneas, Diancie rencontre un groupe de voleurs voulant s'approprier sa capacité à créer des diamants et qui, par la même occasion, réveillent le Pokémon légendaire Yveltal et le tirent de son cocon ! Sacha et ses amis vont-ils parvenir à aider Diancie à découvrir son vrai pouvoir, arrêter la rage destructive d'Yveltal et sauver le Royaume des Diamants ?

L'histoire se déroule dans un monde latino assez proche du Brésil. Michiko Malandro, jeune femme de caractère, s'évade de la prison de haute sécurité de Diamandra réputée pour être une "prison dont on ne s'échappe jamais". Dans son escapade elle prend sous son aile une jeune fille surnommée Hana. Maltraitée par sa famille adoptive (composé d'un prêtre et sa famille) qui ne la garde que pour les taches ménagères et surtout l'argent qu'elle leur rapporte, Hana est loin de se douter de se qui l'attend avec cette femme au sang chaud ! Mais Michiko n'a pas prise par hasard la jeune Hatchin (surnom donné à Hana) et c'est une course poursuite qui s'engage entre les deux complices et les brigades de policiers mené par Atsuko Jackson dans le monde funky mais néanmoins dangereux du Brésil de Michiko to Hatchin !
