The ASH (Abnormal Species Humanoid) first appeared in the beginning of the 1980s. They looked like humans, but they weren't. The ASH can be identified by a pulsating appendage on their back; it resembles an embossed root clutching the spine. These humanoid creatures have the power to destroy telepathically via a deadly impulse which hemorrhages brain cells. Their goal is to populate the planet via random sexual contact and then take control. There are special police units who fight the ASH. This top secret organization is called The Society For Environment Protection and its agents are called psychosists

C'est l'histoire d'une jeune étudiante, Mayuko Chigasaki, qui receuille chez elle une jeune extraterrestre répondant au nom de Niea. Mais elle n'est pas la seule extraterrestre à être arrivée sur terre. Niea possède une particularité : elle n'a pas d'antenne, or, tous les extraterrestres en porte une. Cette différence fait de Niea une personne spéciale mais à quelle point ?  En attendant, elle vit avec Mayuko ou plutôt vient manger et dormir chez cette jeune étudiante qui a déja pas mal de problèmes pour vivre toute seule...  C'est un anime très humoristique malgré l'histoire. Certains personnages sont très fantaisistes et les aliens ont souvent beaucoup de choses à apprendre aux humains ;) Un anime à regarder sans modération !
