2436, les humains sont allés à la conquête de nouveaux systèmes solaires où ils ont établis des colonies. Thor et Rai sont deux jumeaux totalement opposés en caractère : le premier est un battant, ne se laissant commander par personne tandis que le second est un grand timide. Âgés de douze ans et fils d'éminents scientifiques, leur vie bascule le jour où en rentrant chez eux ils trouvent leurs parents morts. Ils sont alors kidnappés et se réveillent sur une planète complètement hostile, peuplée de plantes carnivores et de clans qui se livrent des guerres sans merci pour survivre. Ils réalisent rapidement qu'il s'agit d'une planète prison, effacée de tous les dossiers, où on envoie mourir les grands criminels et où seuls les plus forts peuvent espérer survivre. Le seul moyen de quitter la planète est de soumettre les quatre clans en devenant leur grand chef, le Jyu Oh Sei. Mais ils ne sont que des enfants et Thor comprend bien vite que ses chances de survie seront limitées tant que Rai sera dans ses jambes...
