Jiro is a Tokyo man who offers a stand-in service where he'll do "anything". A woman claiming to be from Fukuoka wants to be shown around Tokyo and see the sights. What Jiro doesn't know is that this woman isn't who she says she is. She's on the run from her Yakuza boyfriend, and Jiro is going to be unwittingly entwined in the situation.

Based on a novel by Bo Nishimura, the film is about an extramarital affair between the wife of an estate agent and a 22 year old man.

La Princesse Diamant est une petite fille de 12 ans qui, pour devenir une vraie princesse, ne doit avoir aucun défaut. Sauf que voilà... elle en cumule 12. Le jour de son douzième anniversaire, un jeune et mystérieux prince fait son apparition. Dans le corps de celui-ci se cache en fait le Roi des Ombres, qui transformera ses parents en statues de pierre. C'est alors un long périple que la Princesse Diamant devra parcourir pour retrouver le Prince Théo et par conséquent le Roi des Ombres. Au cours de son voyage, elle devra oublier ses 12 défauts et les transformer en 12 qualités. Elle devra aussi récolter 12 pierres précieuses qui lui permettrons de sauver ses parents. Parviendra-t-elle à rétablir la paix?
