Suskunlar, is a Turkish television drama series based on Lorenzo Carcaterra's 1995 novel of Sleepers.

Yasemin's story began in Germany and found itself in the ups and downs of life. However, she was not afraid to live and succeeded in entering the law school. Now she is both studying and working. Her sole purpose in life is to receive custody of her hearing-impaired brother, who has been growing up in the orphanage as their fathers are different. On the other hand, she is saving up money for her brother Murat's operation. Cem is the older of two children of a wealthy family. As a child, he has witnessed an incident that led his mother Belkis and his father apart and disrupted their lives. Successful, bright man in business. However, he is distant and insecure to women because of what happened in the past. Yasemin and Cem's life crossed in coincides with an event that happened on the night of the organization of Cem's company. Two broken hearts, two wounded souls. Narin vit une enfance difficile dans une famille pauvre, avec sa petite sœur, son grand frère, sa mère et son père alcoolique et violent. Elle tente de sortir de cet environnement grâce aux études. C’était une élève brillante et pleine d’ambition qui a pour rêve d’étudier à l’université d’Istanbul, ce qu’elle parvient à faire en surmontant les épreuves qui s’offrent à elle. Dès qu’elle se rend à Istanbul, le destin de Narin commence à lui sourire, elle se trouve un abri, puis un travail. Elle fait aussi la connaissance de Deniz, fille d’une famille aisée, dont elle devient inséparable. Le temps passe, les deux amies vivent sous le même toit.

La série suit l'histoire de trois frères et sœurs dont un parent est malade : deux filles obsessionnelles - Safiye et Gülben - et un fils - Han, qui a consacré toute sa vie à répondre aux besoins de sa famille, faisant inlassablement la navette entre le travail et la maison. Un jour, le monde de Han bascule lorsqu'il rencontre İnci et en tombe immédiatement amoureux. Pour la première fois de sa vie, Han cherchera son propre bonheur.
