Mike Anderson, un journaliste dur américain sur une affectation à l'étranger dangereux, trouve sa propre vie en danger quand il découvre un labyrinthe mortel de l'intrigue politique qui menace la vie de milliers. D'enquêter sur une envoyée attaque mystérieuse et fatale sur une base navale américaine outre-mer, Anderson, un journaliste de premier plan d'enquête et ex-marine des États-Unis, se retrouve de nouveau sur un terrain familier. A group of close friends celebrate the bittersweet changes coming to their lives during the summer of their high-school graduation: adult responsibilities, adult romance -- and the soberingly adult fact that some of their number are being drafted into the Israeli army. This has very much the feel of a high-school beach-party movie -- with music, and in Hebrew -- until a sudden and disturbingly realistic reminder of their own mortality finally slashes through the kids' cheerful, close-knit obliviousness.

HaShminiya is a television series that was broadcast on the Israeli channel Arutz HaYeladim in HOT. Although the show was designated for children and teenagers, it was also popular with adults.
