Park Sung Soo (pseudo : Doctor) est un coréen qui s'est installé au Japon avec sa petite sœur il y a quelques années. Vendeur de matériel médical malmené par son boss à cause de ses faibles résultats, il se fait passer pour un docteur sur Twitter. Ichihara Kaoru (pseudo : Linda) est harcelé sexuellement par sa supérieure hiérarchique. Hikaru Nishimura (pseudo : Peach) est la meilleure amie de Tsukiko et a une relation avec son boss. Tous sont peu satisfaits de leur vie actuelle et leurs chemins vont se croiser sur le site de micro-blogging Twitter, puis dans dans la vie réelle.

Le détective Ukyo Sugishita enquête sur les affaires criminelles selon ses propres méthodes. Ukyo sera accompagnés de différents partenaires au fil des saisons.

Kohei Kamishiro (Masaharu Fukuyama) worked as a musician in his past. He only had one hit song and his recording contract was eventually canceled. He became devastated and left the field of music. Twenty years later, Kohei Kamishiro keeps his distance from music, but his passion for music hasn't faded away. He leads a boring life. Due to his past experience, he finds it difficult to have a relationship with women. One day, a woman appears in front of him. She has a complex and because of this leads a solitary life. The woman though has an amazing singing voice. By meeting her, Kohei begins to think he wants to make music again.

Based on Tezuka Osamu’s “Shinsengumi” series from 1963. 1863, Kyoto. At a small teahouse run by his father, Fukakusa Kyujuurou lived modestly yet earnestly day by day. However, one night, that peaceful everyday life changed dramatically. His father, who had been sheltering a pro-Shogunate samurai, ends up being killed by Shonai, a Choshu samurai. Shaken with rage, Kyoujurou dashed out of the shop to pursue Shonai and his comrades, but then a man appeared, seemingly understanding Kyoujurou’s intentions, and swiftly cut down one of the samurai. Identifying himself as the chief of the Shinsengumi, Isami Kondo offered words of condolence to Kyoujurou, expressing gratitude for his father’s bravery, before departing.
