La jeune veuve Mme Lowe demande à Lane et à ses amis de l'aider à retrouver les 500.000 dollars que son mari avait dérobé lors de l'attaque d'un train. Elle souhaite rendre l'argent à qui de droit et réhabiliter ainsi la mémoire de son époux, mort il y a cinq ans. Lane et ses compagnons partent à la recherche du magot, mais sont suivis par vingt cavaliers, dont quelques uns étaient aux cotés de Lowe lors du hold-up. Lane récupère l'or au moment où les bandits décident d'attaquer. Lane et ses hommes parviendront à les repousser. Il rend l'argent à Mme Lowe, et apprend peu après que la veuve est en fait une prostituée. Lane et ses amis décident alors d'attaquer le train.

Shindig! is an American musical variety series which aired on ABC from September 16, 1964 to January 8, 1966. The show was hosted by Jimmy O'Neill, a disc jockey in Los Angeles at the time who also created the show along with his wife Sharon Sheeley and production executive Art Stolnitz. The original pilot was rejected by ABC and David Sontag, then Executive Producer of ABC, redeveloped and completely redesigned the show. A new pilot with a new cast of artists was shot starring Sam Cooke. That pilot aired as the premiere episode.
