An ex-partisan and current political activist sets out to Styria region in Slovenia to buy out the wheat from peasants and convince them to form the farming collective. His ostensible success (based on blackmailing rather than convincing), as well as his love defeat, make him disturbed and he kills an innocent man while performing a social mission.

Jagoda Kopriva is a typical teenage girl who hangs out with her friends from school, flirting with boys, quarreling with her parents, and discovering her own sexuality.

The reconstruction of creation of an influential avantguarde movement called "Novo Mesto Spring" that arrived on Slovenian cultural scene during 1920s. Within this movement worked significant local artists such as composer Mario Kogoj, painter Rihard Jakopic, poet Danijel Bohoric and many others.

Gangsters hide the stolen money in the refrigerator, which is committed to the school for the arrangers on the seashore. In the same school, a young man responses the advertising for the photographer, so he could provide a free holiday for himself and his friends. Gangsters come there as well, accompanied by detectives. On top of all that, the school is full of girls who try to win the confused young man's heart. This generates a series of comic complications in which the young man finally discloses the gangsters from prosecution, while at the same time being rescued from girls by his friends who have now arrived on holiday.

Peter, whose father was a member of the Home Guard collaboration forces and a political emigrant, returns from Argentina to Slovenia, his father’s homeland. In Slovenia, Peter makes the acquaintance of an architect, but their friendship is fraught with ideological conflicts.

À cause d’une avarie technique, l’avion qui devait mener la jeune Iben du Danemark en Grèce est contraint de faire escale à Ljubljana. Les passagers sont accueillis à l’aéroport par une jeune femme, Tina, chargée de les conduire à l’hôtel où ils doivent passer la nuit. Mais Iben, qui voyage seule, reste dans la navette, et demande à Tina de lui montrer la ville. Cette dernière tombe presque immédiatement sous le charme de cette étonnante étrangère au culot mêlé d’une étrange mélancolie. Entre la Danoise expansive et la Slovène introvertie et un peu paumée s’installe peu à peu une attirance intriguée. Elles se lancent dans une longue promenade à travers la ville, jusqu’au matin. Au fil des conversations en anglais, la seule langue qu’elles partagent, elles dévoilent un peu d’elles-mêmes. Mais ce qui importe vraiment, notamment la triste raison du voyage d’Iben, ne pourra être exprimé que dans leur langue maternelle…
