Two safaris enter the African jungle intent on finding a white girl who is the heiress to a fortune. One safari, led by Jungle Jim, wants to make sure she gets the news that she is now a rich woman. The leaders of the other safari want to kill the girl so they can try to get hold of her inheritance.

The Randolph family have a tradition of working in the British colonial service. Clive comes home from a mission in the Gold Coast of Africa accompanied by his wife Helen. He discovers his younger brother John, is not keen on following in his footsteps. John is then persuaded to try colonial service by his grandfather. He is accompanied by Clive who has been sent to investigate the source of a series of radio broadcasts that are sewing unrest throughout the world. These may be linked to Hugo Zurof, a man plotting to rule the world.

Roberta Morgan is being raised in a wealthy home where her mother is occupied with her society-club activities and her father is immersed in his business activities. She also feels that the household staff is against her and that no one understands her needs and problems. Things spiral out of control.

Une fois arrivés sur place, ils sympathisent avec le vieux Dan Wilson à qui ils prêtent un peu d'argent : en gage, celui-ci leur donne l'acte de propriété d'une terre qui ne vaut apparemment pas grand chose. Or, le vieux Wilson ne sait pas que le chemin de fer passera bientôt par ce terrain, ce qui décuple sa valeur aux yeux de la compagnie ferroviaire...
