Two couples are at an isolated lakeside cabin and the tragic psycho-sexual interaction between these four people leads one of them, Piotr, to commit an unspeakable act.

The well-known and respected actor Adam has a sudden and widespread stroke. He loses his health and the tool necessary for the performance of his profession - speech. Despite the hopeless diagnosis, Agnieszka, Adam's wife, fights with stubbornness and determination for his recovery and his return to the stage.

Left behind by a circus, a camel wanders to the house of a simple middle-aged couple in a Polish village. Although the wife is initially bewildered by the strange and unexpected animal, her husband immediately adopts it as a pet.
