Réunis dans un cercle tourné vers l'intérieur et incapables de bouger, ils vont apprendre rapidement que toutes les deux minutes, l’un d’eux doit mourir, exécuté par un dispositif étrange situé au centre de ce lieu insolite et inquiétant.
