Kamel, a Palestinian man in his 50s, suffers from autism and travels with his paralyzed sister to the Dead Sea to receive medical treatment in seawater in the hope that it will help him treat psoriasis that has spread through his body.

Nimer, un étudiant palestinien réfugié clandestinement à Tel-Aviv, rêve d’une vie meilleure à l’étranger. Une nuit, il rencontre Roy, un jeune avocat israélien. Ils s’éprennent l’un de l’autre. Au fil de leur relation, Nimer est confronté aux réalités cruelles de la communauté palestinienne – qui rejette son identité – et de la société israélienne – qui ne reconnaît pas sa nationalité. Sur fond de lutte familiale, politique et sociale, Nimer doit choisir entre son désir d’ailleurs et son amour pour Roy.

Huit femmes, arabes et juives, participent à un atelier vidéo animé par Rona, jeune cinéaste. À chaque prise de vue, la dynamique de groupe oblige les femmes à remettre en question leurs croyances tout en apprenant à se connaître.

Layla, Salma et Nour, 3 jeunes femmes palestiniennes, partagent un appartement à Tel Aviv, loin du carcan de leurs villes d'origine et à l'abri des regards réprobateurs. Mais le chemin vers la liberté est jalonné d'épreuves…

An impossible love story - Huda, an Israeli Arab, and Alex, recently immigrated to Israel, overcome all difficulties.

Sassi is more than 20 years older than his wife Effi and is worried about his declining powers. Surgery has left him seeking treatment for impotence, but Effi insists she’s content with their emotional closeness. In her work as a physical therapist, though, Effi sees the link between body and heart every day. The biggest challenge to their loving relationship has been the gambling debts Sassi’s adult son keeps running up. But the couple’s fragile understanding, compounded by the presence of two young men, introduces new threats. Their teenage grandson, Omri, returns from living with his father in Europe, at loose ends and clearly in need of guidance. For one thing, he can barely stand to wear a shirt. Then a young patient turns up at the swimming pool where Effi conducts therapy sessions. He comes to confront her about something from their past, something complicated, contested, and painful to them both.
