Ramu, a poor boy and an avid reader, works hard and saves money to buy his favourite book. But, situations drive him to take a hard decision when his family members suffer in cold weather.

Shivayya, who suffers from autism, impulsively marries Lalitha, a young widow, against the customs of his village. They move to the city to escape from the wrath of the societal judgement.

A woman divorces her husband when he blurts out in a drunken stupor that he slept with a widow. He hatches a plan to reconcile with his family after failing to reason with her.

Agraja is an Kannada film directed by Srinandan starring Darshan and Jaggesh.Kamna Jethmalani, Sanjjanaa, Arundathi and Hardika Shetty play the heroines, while Sadashiva Brahmavar, Rangayana Raghu, Biradar and Achyuth Kumar play supporting roles. Agraja is based on the subject of a National Film Award winning Telugu film.

Eradu Rekhegalu is a 1984 Indian Kannada language drama film directed by K. Balachander. The film stars Srinath, Geetha and Saritha in the lead roles.
