Alice Nellis's small-scale debut tragicomedy spotlights small-town elections. The protagonist, a university student name Jana (Theodora Remundová) who is trying to solve a troubled relationship with a married man, takes her mother's place on the election commission. In the meantime the mother (Iva Janzurová) is going through her own small domestic crisis with her husband (Leos Sucharípa). Thanks to excellent acting performances and restrained direction, the film convincingly outlines interpersonal relations and their light social overtones.

Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le mime français Antoine Moreau est arrêté par la Gestapo parce que son amant a collaboré avec la résistance antinazie. Les unités SS veulent l'utiliser pour répéter une représentation théâtrale idyllique pour enfants, qui convaincrait l'inspection de la Croix-Rouge internationale du contentement et du bonheur de la vie dans le ghetto de Terezin. D'abord réticent, Moreau apprend peu à peu la vraie nature du camp, notamment le sens des « transports » sur lesquels les gens partent. Avec un orchestre de classe mondiale (composé de juifs internés dans le camp) et une troupe d'enfants, Moreau met en scène un spectacle pour clore tous les spectacles. Et là, Antoine inclut des informations pour les invités choqués sur la réalité : la sorcière de conte de fées jette des hordes d'enfants dans le four… Ce spectacle, que le monde entier verra alors, sera une cruelle parabole des atrocités dont il a été témoin.

Adam is a young farmer. As a child, fleeing the bleak reality of his mother's life as a prostitute, he tumbled from a mountain and was mentally injured. Years later, his mother is dying, so Adam sells their only cow to pay for medicine. Rosa, a beautiful young maid, fleeing the sexual exploitation of a wealthy butcher, climbs up to join them on their remote farm and dares to become part of Adam's world. A cycle of life begins again, in a remote turn-of-the-century village tied to the land and its animals.

Dana is young medical student with no self esteem, she can't deal with life, people and even not with herself. After her boyfriend leaves her, she changes to selfish woman, manipulating people and making them to serve her. She plays with her husband, neighbors and friends - for her own good and for fun.
