Le quartier d'Ajami, à Jaffa, est un lieu cosmopolite où cohabitent Juifs, Musulmans et Chrétiens. Le jeune Nasri, âgé de 13 ans, et son grand frère Omar vivent dans la peur depuis que leur oncle a tiré sur un membre important d'un autre clan. Malek, un jeune réfugié palestinien, travaille illégalement en Israël pour financer l'opération que sa mère doit subir. Binj, palestinien, rêve d'un futur agréable avec sa petite amie chrétienne. Dando, un policier juif recherche désespérément son jeune frère disparu... L'histoire de destins croisés au coeur d'une ville déchirée...

Oren (27) comes to his parents’ house to pack his belongings before moving with his girlfriend to their new apartment. During this day, out of seemingly simple interactions, the family dynamics reveals itself, and exposes the protagonist’s place- between child and adult, between intimacy and alienation. The house constitutes the space in which past, present and future mix into a chronicle of separation. Winner of San Sebastian International Film Festival short competition.
